Canyonlands National Park 2025

Written by: Mark on 2025-11-24

Utah’s Canyonlands National Park is a wilderness of countless canyons and fantastically formed buttes carved by the Colorado River and Green River, and their tributaries. Author Edward Abbey, a frequent visitor, described the Canyonlands as “the most weird, wonderful, magical place on earth—there is nothing else like it anywhere.” This park is emblematic of the beauty of the American West, distinguishing this continent from almost all others. My photos only show a small section of this park, because I didn’t have time to visit it all, or walk the trails. There are many spectacular scenes I did not see or photograph this time.

Next, the Grand Canyon National Park. Looking forward to getting home soon.
